Mumbai's ICICI Lombard General Insurance reported a net profit of Rs. 352 crore for the quarter ended December 2022, an increase of 11 over Rs. 318 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The corporation's gross premium income rose to Rs. 5600 crore up 17 from Rs. 4786 crore from the year ago period. The underwriting deficit was Rs. 293 crore compared to Rs. 269 crore in the corresponding quarter earlier. The combined ratio for the first nine months improved to 1046 from 111 in the corresponding period last year.
