2nd Test: Ashwin, Siraj keep India's hopes alive as Windies employ negative batting tactic

India bowlers toiled hard, managing four wickets as a defensive West Indies crawled their way to 229 for five on a rain-marred third day of the second Test in Port of Spain. With a couple of rain interruptions, only 67 overs were possible in which West Indies added just 143 runs as it looked the hosts were looking for a draw. Mohammed Siraj, R Ashwin, Mukesh Kumar and Ravindra Jadeja picked up a wicket apiece as West Indies the day 209 runs behind India's first innings score of 438.
