Bajrang Punia had suffered a “severe knee injury” in Russia in June which had threatened his Olympics participation, revealed famous Mumbai-based orthopedic surgeon Dinshaw Pardiwala, whose timely intervention proved crucial in preventing further damage to the injured area.
