The ICC's Cricket Committee, headed by Anil Kumble, decided to extend the 'wicket zone' area from the bottom edge of the bails to the top-most tip of the bails. This effectively increases the chance of bowlers getting more LBW decisions in their favour, if and when an on-field umpire's decision is reviewed.
