An affidavit filed by the Centre in the Supreme Court on Tuesday shows how an initial estimation of Karnataka’s demand for liquid medical oxygen by April 30 was only at 111 tonnes/day — at least 10 times lower than the state’s current projection. This has raised concerns over a demand-supply mismatch in the coming days.
