The Supreme Court on Thursday reserved its verdict on fugitive liquor baron Vijay Mallya's two-year-old petition seeking recall of the court's 2017 judgment holding him guilty of contempt of court but dampened hopes of any relief by saying he had siphoned off $40 million from his account to hoodwink creditor banks in violation of court orders.
