Despite the BCCI categorically stating that it will not compensate the franchises for any 'losses' whatsoever - given the simple logic that these 'losses' are merely relative because of Covid restraints - the franchise sent a detailed presentation to the board, estimating the financial losses per team at Rs 46 crore this season. The said franchise, in fact, yet again raised the question if this cost (read: projected 'losses') will be borne by IPL or entirely by the franchises?
